Changing my colours

I'm seriously thinking of painting my Cross Bones a vintage HD green. Four years of black and I'm getting an itch. As the bike lends itself to a
Retro look already I thought a colour change might ok. Especially if I do it myself. I'll show a pic of it now and of a bike with the retro, vintage couloir I like. Comments please. I wish I could try out the colour digitally before actually doing it. No I don't, I prefer old school. Just go with your gut, RIGHT.

Exactly right, why would you care what other people think?  It's your bike, make it your own and anyone that doesn't like it can jump.

Do what you want, just might need to tell Rego of change of colour. as some states require this.
the plastic wrap a good idea.

Is the wrap affected by fuel spilling on it?

Agree.... I looked at PlastiCoat and while its not that expensive (relativity speaking) the colour options available are limited.  I doubt the OP will find their Green there.

It does look good in that colour.
Post another pic if you go through with it.

Have no issues with fuel spills, the only issues is under the tank heat off the heads wrinkles it a little so I stopped at the edge of the tank and no problems now.
