SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

    just wondering if my rear brake switch can still be re-placed, free of charge, after many years of recall ?
    part # 72016-06
    unsure if it has been re-placed

    Give it a go mate, Harley will have it on their data base if it has been changed in the past.

    There's no statutory limit on motor vehicle recalls in Australia Ralph. Just ring any dealer service dept. and quote your VIN. They can tell you the bikes' status in a minute.

    Is there a list or website somewhere that I could research if my bike had a recall notice issued for something?  Other than 'trusting' harley dealership.

    tussuck, pretty sure the same site you recently posted under manual downloads will show any recalls for your bike once you input your vin.
    Its up the top of the page from memory.

    For those that don’t know this is for owners not dealers.
    Harley home page,
    Along top press owners,
    Maintenance schedule,
    English,
    Australia,
    Put in VIN number,
    Along top is recalls etc for that VIN no and other info on selected VIN
