Don"t know if any of you guys are old enough to remember the movie, with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez, the big caravan or something similar.

He should be OK as long as the missus doesn't decide to collect rocks at every stop.

Is the Iveco a 3 litre, 4 cyl diesel Bob?
7.3 Powerstroke V8s pull pretty well, we have one to deliver SUPRA boats, it can't even feel them on the back.

It is a 3L turbo diesel, but the 210HP version, funny thing is it pulls the fiver better than the 7.3 did?
Just delivered it to get the solar system installed, 1.7 KW system. Getting a new 208L twin compressor fridge installed as well.

Apologies for not being around everyone, but with selling up the house and final fitting out of the van, I have been run off my feet. Final garage sale is this weekend, storage people arrive next Friday to take all the gear we want to keep.
Van and truck are ready to roll, and now has 2kw of solar panels, and 1,040 ah of AGM battery storage.

Van has been positioned up in the Hills as I have a horse stud farm sitting contract for 3 months before we leave
More work on the outfit includes a 5kw Fujitsu reverse cycle split, a 5kw diesel heater, a Sphere automatic satellite dish with vast decoder, new satellite tracking alarm system on both vehicles
Give us a wave if you see us on the road, the fridge is always stocked.
    Regards Lofty

I went on a 12 month trip in my mid 30s, and I asked a friend who had just done it for some advice on what to carry, she said don’t take anything besides the basics, and to buy it as you need it.  Well the amount of crap that travelled with me around Australia that I never used and just got in the bloody way... I should of listened to her !!!

Yeah, it's just human nature to try & be prepared but we tend to over-think it. Traveling is something that you get better at each time.
