What's the insurance premiums on the these ? or personal injury coverage if you happen to come to grief and are laided up ?

Club marine are the insurers....$750 for comp insurance including trailer. Old for new for 24mths, 10million personal and property liability cover. Can reduce premium by electing months the ski wont be used . My loss of income policy covers me in the unlikely event of long term loss of work, plus i have 11 months worth of accrued sick hrs taking 24hrs pay per week

Remember in 78 (like last centaury 1978) in Penang riding the precursor to Jet Ski, babe on the back and joints in plastic bags......
Now got plastic kayaks , with fucked joints...

Well seems like i have bought a water version of HD. The accessories are very expensive, pissy little bracket $100 etc, oh well keeps someone employed i guess. Need to sus out some aftermarket mobs. A esky $1000!

I guess you can’t say nobody warned you, but in any case if they had you wouldn’t of listened anyway. See what ratio you get, running hours/$.

Well went for the first run today, 33 degrees and fucking hot! The wind picked up in the arvo so hit the river mouth and had a ball in the surf. Nothing broke, went fantastic now Corona time!

Am an old surfer. South coast SA. initially.
God, I lived for surfing and the buzz it returned.... Cannot afford a JSki, little own a new board...
The water is so rewarding, and ya bounce -to a degree....

The water is truly rewarding have always lived close to the ocean all my life, but also love the desert in Sedona USA and could cheerfully live in Montana or Denver, life really is a smorgasbord

Great happy for you, but please give it a really thorough rinsing with fresh water, try to get some saltaway, if you can, it removes all the salt and leaves a film of some sort of protection.
Remember, Your next ride will only be as good as your last clean.

Cheers Muzza, Sea doo have a closed loop cooling system like a car so does not rely on sea water circulating to cool it. The exhaust does rely on sea water so yes got a decent flush out. Will invest in that product anyway.

Its interesting that in the warranty section of the owners manual it says. Under australian consumer laws you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or relaced if the goods are not of acceptable quality and that failure does not amount to a major failure
