  Ok I will kick it off with a great Pie at Stone Hut SA, maybe not the best but 7/10 I would say.

  Had a curried Scallop pie in Hobart the other day, wow !!!

  have also had a chicken parmy pie from a bakery in Heathcote that was pretty special too.

  curried scallop pies from exeter bakery 10/10 at least 5 scallops in a pie

  Chilli and pepper pie from Kiplings in Port Wakefield SA, the place is always packed. Even with other bakeries nearby,  sometimes there’s a line up out the door.

  Gotta admit I don’t like sauce in those little plastic packs that you gotta squeeze, means you gotta sit down all lady like to eat it. Ruins the pie eating experience.

  In SA we inject sauce directly into your pie/pasty. 4 or 5 good squirts so you can eat your choice in one hand, beer in the other and without wearing the sauce and even better, they don’t charge extra for it.

  Someone interstate told me it’s a health and safety thing, FFS, I ain’t no greenie but think of the thousands of sauce packs hitting landfill.

  was at a rally on the weekend,a few sauce bottles used and didnt see any health/safety issues......but there were a few with beer staggers.i find with the little squeese packs you tend to wear the sauce and not the pie, if not held the right way.

  Another good place to get a pie is East Lynne Store (Servo & Cafe ) it is south of Ulladulla & about 15k north or Batemans Bay on princess Hwy, they have won awards for there pies. and really friendly Aussie service & they like Motor Bikes.
