Got to the onramp this morning and traffic is backed up onto the feeder road for the onramp! I'm thinking bugger there must be an accident, and sure enough once I'm on the motorway 3 of the 4 lanes are closed and drivers are all being tools trying to stay in the closed lanes until the last minute.
So I'm looseing my chit with the various idiots (I had already had a near miss where some so and so pulled in front of me and I had to lock up front and rear to avoid smashing into them).
4 kms down the road and sure enough its an accident. BLOODY sobering though when you see a very mashed motorcycle lying on the road surround by chitloads of blood and crap, and a truck parked up further in the lane. We all know that its not the truck drivers blood.
My thoughts go out to the rider (just read that it was a fatal accident).
Condolences to his family, this shit shouldn't happen if these F@#ktards watch where they are going.
Do you know who was at fault?
Sadly what I'm reading on the herald sun is pointing to the rider taking action to avoid a slowing car, bouncing off it and then straight under the wheels of a double B semi. I recon lane splitting would have been involved as its the norm here, but even then its not pointing the finger at that being the cause.
