The OEM trick lower rear stop/tail led light is not compatible with HDi international models.

What would be different on our bikes to the US models? I'm told the electrics of HDi bikes shut down if it's plugged in.'

I'm sure I've seen bikes out here with them fitted, anyone clued up.

    Cheers, Pete.

The light is NOT a plug and play. The USA bikes allow the indicators to be illuminated when you have the ignition on. I rewired the light to get it to wk.

Custom Dynamics make a unit that works fine if your bike is a 2014 and up you can get a unit from Harley Heaven in Dandenong for around 200 bucks its simple plug in a few Gents on here have the unit as do I and I have had no issues with it
If you buy it from Custom Dynamics make sure you order the one for International models
Need any more info PM me ill give you all the info you need

Thanks Tat and Pauly, I'll chase that up.

Pauly, was the fix just a matter of finding the appropriate feeds from the upper lights

and looping them to the bottom light?

I can't imagine that the extra current draw of that little LED would be an issue...

    Thanks Lads.

You need the light for HDI models,I recommend the custom dynamics setup.
The lower fender light for Australia is a dummy,it could have something to do with our ADR's (only guessing)
All you have to do is unclip the wiring plugs on the dummy light and remove the dummy light, fit the light from Custom dynamics and plug the wiring in...it works fine...
Here's the right link for the light.... https://www.customdynamics.com/rear-led-tri-bar-fender-tip-for-harley-davidson-international-hdi-street-glide-road-glide?cat=120 .....if you watch the video you will see how easy it is to fit the light.....I like the setup because you get an extra brake/ taillight

Thanks Awaba, I'll compare the price of OEM Vs Custom. If there's only a few bucks in it I'll buy the Custom. I was in Auto/Electrical engineering all my working life so it'll be no hassle modding a stocker.
Cheers lads for all your input.
