  will be starting from lax pauly, staying over night then up the coast to san francisco 

  taking three days to do the 8 hours drive so get to have a good look around

  If you are going up 101, good tourist stop is Hurst Castle, right on the coast. Safe travels.

  I go over AirNZ business, amazing, try for an upgrade, the lounge is amazing
  

  If you plan on going to Alcatraz in SF, go online and get your tickets now, you cant just walk up and get them, well, you can, but only for next week

  there is a very early morning opening to buy at the counter but you have to be near the first ten people to get tickets and you cant buy for people that are not there, the whole party has to be present

  clam chowder at gumps on Santa Monica peer is good, walk to the end of the peer is the end of Route 66

  just had a look on maps , hearst castle 5 mins from morro bay where we are staying ......sweet 
  
  

  thanks too soap , i did alcatraz last april where we met bill baker one of the last remaining inmates 

  
  

  just finished his book that he also signed for us , visited gumps  on the pier to , bloody nice grub
