Hey guys, I'm about to put my Breakout on a dyno tomorrow for a power run. I bought it with a stage 1 kit on it. I'm looking to upgrade to a stage 3 or 4 but I've never actually seen a dynograph of what kinda torque or horsepower it has already. Im sure the service guy said it would have been on the dyno when they did the pipe, intake and tuner. Has anyone out there put a M8 114 with a stage 1 on the dyno? Im interested to see what kinda numbers they got and if they are much different from a stock 114.
Go see Fred at Pro Cycles slacks creek. Your not going to get a huge power difference on a stg 1 kit over a std bike. Once you get into cams decent pipe etc you will need a custom map and your going to feel the giddy up then. Around $700-$1000 for a custom dyno tune. Takes around 4hrs for the wk
Went and saw him today. I'd just had a power run on the dyno @ GA before I went to Pro Cycles so I took him the dynograph. He said the numbers were OK, 87.62 hp and 113.43 ft lb torque. He said he could improve them a bit on the dyno with my race tuner. Ive just ordered a Stage 4 kit so I'll get the dealer to install it and then give it to Fred to work his magic. Riding it home today I got a chance to open it up a bit. M8 114's are an awesome motor. I can't wait to see how its gonna feel stretched out.
Fred tunes bikes like no other.......as good as any given bike’s tune can be. Worth every penny.

Maybe you should be mindful that another very clever and respected tuner has joined the topic.......
The forum cop is onto me oh no lol.....Well, the name didn’t ring any bells my end man, but if you’re listening Lushy no disrespect intended.....still.... .....plenty of tuners around, few deliver results first time every time like Fred does.
Well it should , perhaps google may well be your friend.....Neville Lush may help you. I would be very happy for either to tune my modded bike. You failed to mention the last line in the web page for Fred.........** Performance Engines may incur additional charges.
Yes officer, thank you officer. I’ll try to remember to mention everything relevant next time officer....
Dan, I'm still a carb bike owner but love EFI.
Good luck with it Krash.....if your bike is delivering good performance and you’re happy I can understand you not feeling the need for a Dyno.....still, every bike will benefit even marginally from a precise tune. I dunno where you live, and not withstanding all the other tuners around the place that we all need be mindful of lol, Fred is a good choice for Brisbane folks, and he will tune any carb bike too. Can’t see any stage 4 Harley taking him longer than a half day though, regardless of pipes etc. And his charge will be $599 using a SE/TTS tuning box......keep us updated on your drag prowess man that sounds like fun.
