LOL, very true , but Ive had V&H pipes on about 8 bikes, they were put on this bike by the dealer as I didnt like the side shots that were on it, I didn't purchase them myself per se
I live basically CBD & they are too obnoxious for riding around here

im actually going back to stock headers with SE mufflers, I've had the cover ceramics coated in black & will get the mufflers done also I reckon.

Sick of the grief with the noise & the wallopers

Taztiger while you’ve got the SE mufflers apart for coating, (could cheaper just to buy a black set) if you’ve not already done it you’ll find you can drill up to 3 times the number of holes in the baffle without making any real audible difference to the noise level. Keep the holes at the existing end or the sound can get spitty.
Taking the glass out of the SE’s can be a shit job too, rather than being in a sheet form it’s spiralled around the outer perforated tube like cotton on a reel, too painful to put back so get some needlemat.
More holes will also have less effect on your tune.

Hi, HPC have told me they wont be pulling the mufflers apart to ceramic coat them, assume as its only a cosmetic coating ?
    cheers
