Just got word from his facebook page. Looks like he's going back for a second stab at the Everest trip later this year. This time he's going to try and actually get there, and yes he's planning to ride the sporty again.

Well done FC. Just watched it. Very funny. They actually have good coffee at the big koala. Been there a couple times.

Well I will have to put the big koala on my bucket list Steelo.  Must have been past it before, just never noticed it. Yep, I'm uncouth and oblivious to great culture.
Did you buy one of those dodgey looking  boomerangs there too?.
Be astounded if he does not stay in a hotel during the trip.

Just read a couple reviews on Tripadvisor FC. Didn't rate very highly but the couple times I've been there it was OK and the coffee good

Punched a fair hole in his oil tank. He'd be better off on a nice reliable Evo for that trip.

    WTF is that??

That, Humbug is the big spud at Sassafras. Some folk call it Kenny Kennebec.
A Kennebec is a type of potato.
People here REALLY know their spuds. Couldn't quite believe it when I moved here but they do.
Put a mixed bag of spuds in front of someone and ask em to point out which one is the kennebec, pink eye, king edward, up to date, nicola, dutch cream, moonlight, red russet, ray warren, etc etc and most of the time they can pick em.
I think I agree that(WTF is that??), it is a pretty weird big thing. However it still makes the news sometimes...
Hope that clears it up for you.
Oh yeah, ray warren is not really a type of spud. He's a common tater.

Well well well, you live and learn. Thanks for that Far Canal never knew there were so many spuds. Like the way you slipped RW in there.
Have they ever thought of giving one of Kenny's cousins like Mashy or Chippy a go up on the pole?
