I know we will be back in second half but not confident we can run over the top of them

Well if it helps PB - every Qld NRL team is poor this year. Obviously, NSW has poisoned the water or XXXX. Be careful!

Had to do it, I suppose. Freddy pretty clear on Latrell. Sends a message.
I'm confident in the boys but will see if there are any silly buggers this week. Qld should keep their traps shut and leave the pressure on the blues.

    Shouldn't underestimate a desperate cockroach!

Heading West for the next encounter, see if these two teams can fill the joint up, which lot of Mexicans do we West Aussies support ?? According to a local press article there's a WA born bloke playing for the QLD team.

There is talk of trying another WA entry into the NRL, last one didn't go so well but maybe there is more support now?

As much as we think its a national game the reality is that it is a NSW and QLD comp. Yes we have Melb storm and NZ Warriors but it started at club level in Sydney and has never really ventured too far from its roots

I don't care for the NRL taking the game to Perth. Wishful thinking that they will set up a NRL team over there ... if they do the NRL should spring luxury charter flights for teams like the Cows, Broncs and Warriors that will be disadvantaged having to travel so damn for.
Saying all that, I heard they will sell it out for Origin, undoubtedly helped by being on a Sunday. Hope they enjoy the show of Qld walloping the blues.

For the record (always admits refs screwed up the week before too):
NRL admit referees got Tigers try wrong. https://nrl.sportsmatemobile.com/news/28044.

...not to say the Cowboys aren't playing like a rabble at times.

Roosters star Latrell Mitchell is reportedly considering turning his back on NSW coach Brad Fittler over his State of Origin Game 2 axing.
As the world around Mitchell continues to spin following revelations of the star’s private issues off the field on Monday night, it has now emerged Mitchell is seriously thinking about making himself unavailable for future Origin campaigns — even if Fittler comes knocking to bring him back into the Blues team.

This is the crux of the problem for NSW...……. Any player would give his ALL to play for QLD, but NSW players think its a god given right to play for them, and when they don't get picked...…. they crack the shits

I, for one, am glad that Fittler isn't giving Latrell the opportunity to make amends in game 2.
The bloke played well on Sunday and if he was a Qld'er I reckon they would have given him a second chance.

    Complete load of bullshit!!!
Most people in this country either don't know the words to this crappy song or don't like them, either way you see plenty of silent people STANDING while it is played, had nothing to do with the Blues panic changes.
