    QLDER!

Done get too cocky Pauly, QLD only won by 4 points playing 16% of game time against 12 men AND with an arsey intercept. Given equal stats and no home ground advantage I reckon NSW will get up.

Ah yes nothing like blind faith, that's why we love playing NSW. Bet they cant resist wholesale changes next game.....would not surprise me if you pick Pearce again

As always, playing at Briz NSW get hit with higher penalty count and a key player set off, plus that pass passing the ball to Queensland ( how on earth a pro first grader would do that? ) I'm sure someone made a lot of $ betting, take the $ out the game so I can believe it. but right now I think it's rigged.

Haha - they deserved to be pinged for the penalties! Which one you disagree with? NSW was off side all night!
And the send-off ... I would have sent Teddy too. Went for a Qld head no where near the ball let alone what Mitchell did. If it was NSW on the receiving end, they would have got a penalty try.

Too many simple errors, not sure Manly were better but shit refs calls did not help at all!

Yep. Poor refs - why do we get stuck with that clown badger as a regular ref? Always appalling. And it's ok to stretch legs to test hammy's now, apparently.
Shit like this turns you off the game.

It is disheartening mate but Morgan smiled and shook the refs hand and they will be back next week to have another crack, I won't comment on the bearded one other than to say if he falls down a man hole I hope someone puts the lid back on.....
Gees call for the Tuala strip on Moses in a two-man tackle was ludicrous, Moses was about to put the ball down.
I dunno how Greeny keeps his tongue, I'd be friggin broke!

Yep. The standard of NRL ref's is still pisspoor.
On the one you mention Hilly, ol mate was about to put the ball down to score, gets it stripped by the Cows winger who is about to sprint the field to score BUT the ref calls it back deeming Manly weren't trying to score! Wtf?
Or when Feldt surrenders near the touch line, DCE drags him back and forces a goal line drop out. Again the refs back themselves. Wtf?

Or when a Manly player is in front of the kicker, gets involved with Cows player trying to catch the ball, Cows drop it, another Manly player scores. Wtf?

Or when a Cows player has his leg reefed out in a tackle, tears a hamstring, no mention by refs, Cows play last 10 mins with 12 men as out of interchange, clearly lowering their chance of a win. Wtf?

Sheer incompetence or policy to help Manly?

Looks like we have gone back to circa 2010-14 when the Cows had to learn to win each game convincingly so incompetent refs decisions can't swing the game.

Coaches have to watch what they say for fear of fine, Fox/9 commentators are loath to have a go, so refs remain protected.

I'm going to do something else today bar-NRL. Done me for the weekend.

the reason Referees are protected, because it is so hard to get and then retain them
the one's they do get are

only do it for the power trip
They are always 50% wrong, never 50% right,
they are always on the other teams side
When they do make the right call, its obviously a mistake
they favor special players, never on your team
they are morons that could not play the game and don't know the rules
they get their legitimacy questioned including the marital status of their parents
    death threats

the best candidate are the ones that sit home on the couch and watch it on telly, with the aid of slow motion from 10 different angles, and 50 years experience
never gone out and carried the whistle, perfect for the retiring player to give back to the game.
yet here we are, I have a wife who can watch a whole game when her team is winning, yet it is never a better team has one when her team loses, always the referee

if you really need to retort I am behind the couch
