Custom Harley 48 gas tank to fit 2018 softail Street bob

    Hi guys.
    I'm selling a custom 48 gas tank fabricated to fit my 2018 street bob bobber to fund other project.

    -Plug & play : 2 bolts and 2 connectors for easy installation.
    -Genuine Harley 48 gas tank 2017 model.
    -Top gas tank bracket is adapted with tank lift kit
    -Bottom tank bracket is fabricated by Monardo Engineering
    -Fuel pump module is from 2018 softail
    -Fuel pump customised to work with all electrics including fuel guage
    -First photo is how it looks like now. Decorated with black vinyl wrap, white decal & white pinstripe.

    Will be sold for cash $1000 or straight swap with oem 2018 softail gas tank with fuel pump.

    Happy to install it if you wish.

    Ready to be installed.
    -note crown cap is not for sale

    Doesn't seem too unreasonable. I've seen guys sell stock 48 (and other) tanks on here for $700-800, and this one sounds like it's been well engineered/modified to suit a purpose.
    They are good looking tanks too I reckon, much better looking than a lot of the new softail tanks. If I had a new streetbob or breakout and didn't need the range, I'd consider this as a unique option for sure.

    You are making it sound like its too much??
    I'd like to see you try & make this happen for a grand! :)

    Tank itself,  inner breather/ overflow pipe, 2018 softail puel pump module, customised fuel float and sensor, extended fuel soak pad, fuel overflow from 18 pump module bunged, fully fabricated bottom bracket, pressure test and paint. Not to mention all electirics, fuel guage, range in km until fuel empty fully working.

    This job wasn't a cheap aftermatket gas tank plonked on the existing fuel pump!

    I'm selling it for nearly half what I spent. Anyone who ends up with this will get a bargain!

    The bike isnt for sale. Only the tank is mate. There are e-marked front and back indicators. E-marked tail light and number plate light is integtated into the number plate frame. The design concept was 50-60s.  Belt covet only required within the 300mm from the closest foot peg according to ADR. No cable is open (lol) they are all OEM cables and factory locations.
    But again they aren't for sale. Only the fuel tank is.
