I live in a tropical area and around Xmas it’s pretty hot, I have a 2018 Street Glide should I go to mineral over synthetic oil ? I know this has been asked a thousand times but need to know in myself that this is the correct thing to do. I replaced in my 2007 Heritage and it’s great but not sure on the street glide.

If it's still under warranty stick with the syn oil, not sure what advantage mineral oil has in warm temps if any?

While all Synth oils aren’t the same, they are engineered to have a much higher temp tolerance before they break down.

Any oil that meet's HD's requirement. but you will have to change it more often in summer. as the high humidity will put condensation in the oil, gear box the same

Why anyone in their right mind would consider a mineral oil in a late model bike thats already run in is beyond me. Just saying ;).

Stay Syn, if it helps you sleep better at night change it more frequently.

    Use google ffs.
And just do what Harley recommend as you will get a 1,000,000 opinions here, some of which could invalidate your warranty.   Once your free from warrenty then no one cares.
