Gidday all ... was wondering if people could chime in and let me know which Harley models that have 49 mil front ends also have duel brake lower legs .

Have scored myself a set of 49 mil Triple Trees and am looking at doing a little project on one of my bikes and am interested at running duel brake setup .

    Thanks in advance .

TJU, didn't the pro street (think it was) breakout come with 49mm forks and dual calipers. Believe the tourers from 2014 up have 49mm forks also.
I was seriously considering fitting earlier roadking fork lowers and dual calipers to my old 94 fatboy.
Don't forget piccys if you go ahead.

Thanks guys ... Was thinking of the Touring models as I have a 17 Road Glide Special but something kept telling me it wouldn't be that easy .
The frame I am thinking of using is my 99 Softail Springer ... The Triple Trees I got are out of a Dyna ... Have to double check which model .

I wonder if there will be a difference in Head Stem Length ... Going to be interesting .

    Thanks again .

All FXDF models came with twin disc and 49mm front end, but not sure when FXDL moved to 49mm? FXDL did have a period of single disc (fucked know why?), but mine 2016 FXDL is twin disc and 49mm.
Best of luck with the modification.

Gidday Folks ... this is the bike i .. MIGHT .. be changing up to telescopic forks ... Have had this Baby for 4 to 5 years now and have had some fun ... also have a 17

Road Glide Special ... just feel like a change ... sort of going for the Sucker Punch Sally look .. { Loosely } ... before all the Springer purist demand i be burnt alive ,

Lol , please let me just say i am doing all the research first to see if it is viable cost wise and so on ... there may be a 2008 Genuine Cross Bones Springer Front end

up for sale at the end of all this .

So i allready have a set of 49 mil Triple Trees ... the goal is to run possibly a set of 2" over forks ... 21" Front Wheel .. and maybe duel Brakes , hence the questions

above regarding which models ran legs with duel brake set ups ... the duel brake set up is not set in stone as i have a 6 piston PM Caliper to use if i go single brake

     set up .

So with that Basic info in mind who and where would be the best places to source cost and availability of 49 mil 2" over sliders ... if my research is correct i of course

should have the option of running ... Dyna ... Touring ... or even some Breakout and V Rod lower legs ... Breakout possibly not for Duel brakes maybe .

I know there are a lot of guys on here that like to see what can fit with what ... Safely and with Form and Function ... so hit me with your thoughts ... and Springer

Lovers i don`t mean hit me literaly , Lol .

IMO going to standard forks will look chit on that bike.  The whole crossbones thing is so not my cup of tea (I recon they are as ugly as chit, but my best mate recons the sun shines out of them...lol), but to swap out the fork you would be better off just buying another plain old softail.

Thanks gents for the feedback ... I expected that type of a response ... As fate would have it a friend of a friend made me a ridiculously low ball offer to sell which I politely declined but got me to thinking I might have a go at selling the beast before changing anything .
Stay posted and get your polite comments ready ... Lol .
