Now that’s a difficult question. Way too many variables, usually the best helmet is the one that fits, even if it’s white :)

Oh god now you will bring the helmet color debate nazi out ......

lol Nah I still have plenty of questions. Remember it was years and years ago when I last rode. I did a walk around AMX in Logan today trying on different jackets, vests, boots and helmets and need advice on thuse too!

I liked the converse looking Dririder boots
    Helmet recommendations?

WOW, Gym boots, you haven't ridden for a while have you

I have 2 pairs of the same style of Harley short boot, they have laces on the front so you can adjust the fit to match the arch of your own foot but they have zips on the side so you don't have to lace up and unlace every time you put them on and take them off and they're comfortable enough to walk a bit of distance in.
I'm not generally big on branded product but I reckon these are good and they're not much more than the ones you linked.  There are a number of similar styles (shorter, longer, with buckles, without plates etc) that would also do.  I've linked to the overseas Harley boot site but you can get most of them at your local stealer.

    Hi All,

Lucky me I have a partner who likes to ride. I am looking at the 2018 softail range and would be choice if you could pass on some experienced advice on a bike that is more suitable out of the range for 2 up. My thinking so far
    - Bike choices so far. Fat Boy, Fat Bob, Low Rider and Breakout
-My first choice would be the Breakout because I like the look. I do understand cornering is not as good as the others
-Any modifications to enhance the 2 up ride? Removable rear back rest? quick removable saddle bags?
Im hitting 50 years next year. The last bike I was on was a 94 fatty over 20 years ago.
    I am 6ft 82kg. The missus is 5'4'' and 55kg
Thanks for any advice in advance

A friend just got a new lowrider, & his wife thought the seat not right for her. so he got a genuine HD seat that looks wider at the rear & quick detach sissy bar with pad. she loves it now. but I'm sure any of the models you chose could be set up for two. just you first need to ask for a long test ride & with partner on the back so the two of you are sure you will enjoy riding a bike like you chose.
    Good luck with it!!

Ive got those dri rider boots. The style isn't for everyone but I like em obviously. I wear jeans and non harley branded gear. I wanted protection for my feet but when i get off the bike I don't want to necessarily look like I've been riding. They suit this purpose and are good value for money

Take no notice of some of these knobs Bruv.:-)  I have a pair of the Dririder boots you are referring to and very comfortable.  Have done some long rides in the pissing rain and my feet were toasty and dry.  I reckon Steelo was even eyeing them off last time I saw him on a ride, he kept looking down at my boots.  Think he might have even taken a quick selfie when I wasn't looking :-)
They even look good when you pull up at the Latte shop !!!
Seriously though I find them very good, having said that you wont look as cool or be as broke as the hard ass Harley rider with his Harley boots on.  Oh whatever you do dont buy a full face that will kill the look all together.  Far better being cool and picking bugs out of your teeth before you sip the aforementioned latte !!

I think the only suitable pants for those boots is these kevlar jeans!

If your got a good local dealer, ask if you can test ride from Sat afternoon shutting time and bring back first thing Monday morning and go away for a night and put on some good kms. If they aren’t keen see if they have a secondhand one and do the same. no harm in asking some dealers do. Gives both of you a good run to see what you both expect from bike before laying done the cash. If your thinking two up weekends away Roadkings are great.
