New battery or something more sinister?!...

Hi all, on my second HD but new to the forums.
I have a 2012 Softail Deluxe that I'm slowly starting to mod into a SoCal style. When time and $ permit!

I had an issue yesterday morning and can't start my bike all of a sudden. The display in the instrument cluster is flashing on and off, there's an odd clicking sound coming from (as far as I can tell) somewhere near the front of the motor.

I have a trickle charger cable with the little LED which is flashing so I chucked the charger on. It turned on fine while connected once but then doing the same thing again and seeing the alarm off randomly also.
The battery has warranty dates into 2019 making me think it's not very old but it seems to run out of charge quickly.

Hopefully the short video I've tried to upload works as I find it a little hard to explain.

Thanks in advance for any help!
    Cheers

Mate I am not being obtuse , but have you tried replacing the battery in the fob ? CR2032

Once that shits itself you can get symptoms exactly as you are describing , even tho' it seems to be the bike battery

I have seen that on multiple occasions before now

No that's ok thanks for the suggestion, I only replaced them about 4 months ago so I don't think so but I'll try again with the spare tomorrow.
Can anyone advise if I'm able to upload a video onto here?

Also, check the battery earth and the battery connections.

More than likely the battery mate. As mentioned, check all your connections and then do a load test.
