Talking fatboy. Need to get new brake pads was quoted 83 bucks from Harley Heaven. Is there a specific needed for the brake pads? Like ceramic or other? Surely there are other options / brands that can be used?
LOL There is a a really compelling and specific need for a brake pad. Did you think $83 was expensive or cheap...
It’s a question. Relating on other brands other than OEM! Nothin to do with price!
The answer is yes
Go onto Easy R's website and have a look, there are a few brands to choose from , lyndall gold are supposed to be the ducks nuts.
I run the Lyndall Golds on my Fatboy, very happy with the feel.
I same as Mickle, Lyndal gold. Buy direct from Rollies in Brisbane
interesting steamer...rang rollies to order/buy a cruise-mate [ a month ago]and was told they didn't sell retail and to find an agent and order through them.no idea why the change....ordered a set of mufflers a couple of years ago no problems.cheers
I've tried SBS and Lyndall gold and gone back to the stock HD pads. I put new floating rotors front and back with Lyndall gold and thought what a waste of money... now back with stock HD which seem to work best. IMHO
Lyndall pads seem to not bite as hard on the first grab of the lever but i think they really bite hard when you squeeze hard. The std seem to grab hard at first grab.
