softail single seat with back rest, which one ??????

looking at buying another single seat with a back rest for longer rides.
just wondering if another has one fitted and their opinions which one to buy ? pro's and con's etc ? where to buy one from ?

oh for my '08 CVO Springer with a 200mm rear end.

Hi Ralph I’ve had the solo mustang seats with rider backrest on similar 200 rear end softy as well as a tourer. The sport tourer seat looks best but not as comfy as the wide touring seat for long trips. They pop up on gumtree. Some for sale on HDforums.com right now in the softail parts section. Much cheaper second hand. They’re vinyl though so don’t breathe as well if getting a baboon’s arse is a concern.
After having a Corbin with real leather I prefer them but more exxy again and they don’t pop up second hand as often. Some people reckon they’re too firm but it suits my skinny arse better than the mustang. I’ve got one on my Dyna but admittedly i haven’t ridden it over long distance yet.

FB can't find any Mustang seats for sale in the forum
can get a Mustang 79530, delivered to me for $610 AD + GST from the states.
need one by Feb next year.

Ralph they're on the Yankee hdforums.com website. There's a few of them but with studs. I buy stuff off there and shipping via usps economy air is reasonable.
Gumtree has a "Harley softail seat with driver backrest, Mustang super touring". It's a double seat and exxy but he'll have to reduce it if he wants to sell. I'm ok with the double seat for touring as I have a bag on the back seat

I actually find the OEM seat very comfortable so I went in a different direction and bought one of these from Fehling.de a German manufacturer of aftermarket parts, I bought two from them, one for my wife’s 2012 and one for my 2016 fatboy lo’s. Very happy with the product and how they support our backs, see the picture I’ve uploaded. Good luck.
