Hey, has anybody fitted an oil cooler to a 2008 sportie?

I'm looking at putting one on my XL883, and was wondering if anyone out there has any advise, or info, or whatever.

    Yeh, why?

Do you ride in the desert?

    Yep, the desert!
no, seriously, I ride 40km to work early in the morning,
then 40 km home about 2ish, in Perth - hot summer heading this way - baking bitumen.
Up and down the Tonkin, 130kph or there-abouts.
This bike puts out a fair bit of heat, so an oil cooler is looking like a good idea ( to me anyway ).

I personally wouldn't bother with one, ride to the weather conditions. If it's blistering hot, leave the bike home if possible. If it pretty hot cut your speed back, no need to flog a motor on a hot day. What Thruster (in reverse) said.....

    Thanks for the input, people.
I've just installed a FuelShot, and tuned it for stage 1, so I'll see how it runs now,(was a little bit lean, I think).

But, I might still put a Jagg cooler on anyway- bling, bling!!
