Hi. My names Glenn, and I have owned sportys and Buells for over 20 years. Got a grey beard so thought I would get an electra glide. Thought I was getting a low mileage 1990 evo. Turned out it was a big bag of shit with holes rusted through the frame (covered up with silicone and paint) a dry primary with rust and a stuffed chain and guide as well as a huge plethora of other issues (belt, brakes carb etc.) Anyway, this forum helped in many ways so I thought I would join. Maybe I could share how I sorted it all out with others who are having the same issues. Here's a pick

Thanks for the replies. At the moment the bikes going fine. I've put 600kms on it since fixing it. And the upside is I know how to change the bearings and seals on an inner primary as well as belts, chains, brakes etc. Hopefully I wont have to find out about the motor for a while:)
