I hope its ok to butt in and make a comment on this.
I have target tune on mine and it uses the map as it is when running auto tune mode.
I think i prefer it that way
    Cheers

Does smart tune work the same way as other so called auto tune systems where it tries to target the afr you set for it? If so, it seem to me that unless you have a pretty good idea of what your engine wants, it could make things worse.
I found this out when I first fitted target tune.
II recieved a map from fuel moto and it was not happy and just got worse.
I then used a map built on a dyno and because the tuner set what he thought was a good afr and then like most, works with the ve tables to optimize the tune, it failed with target tune.
The afr was too lean in most areas.
I have since worked out what afr and spark timing works best for my engine and built my own map over time.
Just use the same process to retune after intalling 110 bolt on kit and heads.
    Cheers

    Just the PV.
I've loaded a canned map to get me by until my 110 goes in then it'll be run in (and tuned) on the dyno.

Im no expert either. Just trial and error.
Find what works and save on dyno fees

It's a reasonably simple process with proven results on different engines.
We don't do too badly Hilly.
