Any Shovels in Vic for Sale ?

    Prefer 80 cube, already have an FLH so looking for FX/FXE/FXR/ FXWG etc

    I don't know of any, just thought I'd point out, if I was looking for a Shovel and I was going to also ride it sometimes. I would look for one about 1974 or older. Even though they are only 74 cubic inch ( 1200 ) the motor always felt better to me. The shorter stroke and heavier flywheels of the early 74 inch plus they had very strong rod's. the motor feels like it pull's better at low rev's & feels smoother to me.also I always thought the Ratchet lid gear box, a better gear box than the Cow Pie & would last longer too.
    just thought I'd mention.

    Thanks mate, with my 34 years of riding shovels experience behind me, I would probably agree with you.
    I already have a 1200 FLH & was chasing an 80cube FX etc

    i have a 1st model Sturgis 1st 80c.i. 1980 80 c.i. 2 into 1 etc all stock , only one of 1277 made , only one of 3 Aussie delivered with sidecar all original , with parts books etc, only at the right price , atm solo , won Bankstown bike show  best early Harley 2 years ago. need a good price owned her over 20 years now

    Have a look on gumtree, there’s a good one in Tumbarumba NSW if that’s not to far north for you.

    Hit up Cyco motorcycles in Mornington, he was going to have shovel come in on consignment.. not sure if it went ahead though. I think (don’t quote me) it was around the $13k mark.
