The stock Pro Pipes imo are too big so I’d appreciate to hear from anyone running a set of the short version.
Dyno sheets would be a good thing to share if you have em.
Any general opinions on them also welcome.

Wow, 134 views and no reply’s, I’m guessing these pipes aren’t popular.

Pro pipes seem to suffer a bit of of a poor reputation with the engine builder lads who prefer other brands. I dont mind them for the looks and sound but aware of heir shortcomings

Can’t comment on the V&H 2 into 1, but can speak first hand on the Bassani Road Rage. Good performance, nice sound, good ground clearance. Worth a serious look. Over to you ...

I think you’ll lose a bit down low with the shorter pipe. How much you’d notice, if at all, is hard to say.
It’s gonna be louder. And higher pitched sound. And closer to your ear than the longer pipe running behind the rider.

Those are sufficient reasons for me to consider other options

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
There’s a lot to think about with pipes. Just removed V&H Big Radius after a couple of months attempting to tame them with a few baffle designs, could only get down to 100db without reducing flow. The Bassanis are good, bit loud, nicely made. I’ll keep fishing.
    Cheers

You must be talking about the 2-2 version, the 2-1 is a decent pipe with a really good sound, and not really loud.
In general, I don't really rate V&H systems, but still they sell !

I have the Rinehart racing 2 into 1 and find it quieter than most with a deep note
    Produces good power and torque
    103 hp and 113 tq I think from memory on 103 with s&s 570
Now have 110 and head work same cams
Tested at 98 db with a decent tester
    Mobile phone app 99 @ 2200rpm
Have tried Rinehart crossbacks, good power but loud
v&h big shots, good power less torque and loud
Supertrapp fatshot 2 into 1, can move the power band and change the noise level
Would be able to pass db test if needed
Went back to RH 2 into 1 because best all round pipe for me
    Expensive experiment though

Hi speedster yeah it was 2-2, I did want the 2-1 but fitment info said no fit my CVO. Have to remove rear pegs, bit difficult for the missus.

Thanks Drac, I’ll see if I can find someone using them and have a listen. Cheers
