Good stuff. That reaction you get around the trucks has to be the batwing fairing as the frame mounted fairing on the road glide doesn't do that at all.

Like the bike CView!! I get the buffeting a little on the Ultra. I think the standard seat is "OK". Get an airhawk for the longer rides and an adjustable backrest. (there's a slot in the back of the seat) Makes all the difference. I feel it in the lower back. Have used a soft motorcross style kidney belt. NO, Not a girdle!! which takes a lot of the riding strain and helps you sit upright. Keep posting pics

Yes the std seat is crap, i put an ultra seat on mine and have done many 1000klm back to back days. The rear spring shocks are pretty unforgiving but you can find a aceptable setting if you fuck around with them. The aero is not the best with heavy vehicles but they react predictably and i found the lower deflectors made a huge difference

Bloody, Hay plain Pauly. One time coming back from North Queensland to West, in my 36HP 1957 Kombi van, on the staight Hay Plain, head towards Bal, I had to change down to second gear, as headwind was very strong. Load was Laverda in back, an dog.S"pose 36 HP wasn't quite up there.
