    Hi Guys,
Needing some advise on fixing a slipping clutch problem on 2016 ultra limited, has only happened once in most gears from a standing start, spoke to my dealer and he has recommended putting in a Aim variable pressure plate assembly. Have already installed a heavier spring when engine upgrades were done, have been using the syn3 oil in primary for the last few services unsure about it ?
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Cheers

hi Cooch, you could drain the syn3 and put ATF Type F in see how that goes, if it still slips use the AIM pressure plate. also is it more in high gear when it slips?

Mate,, what upgrades were done, (engine wise) ???
If nothing over the top was done , (say a cam upgrade, and it has the heavier spring), I am surprised you would have any slipping...
When was the last time the clutch hydraulic fluid was changed, or even checked ???  With a late model bike, with no doubt not a lot of kms, I would start with the easy things..

Slipped in first 4 to 5 gears, was considering changing to another oil so maybe look into that, thanks

110 kit, cams 585 se, heads ported bigger valves etc an auto tuner I think there called, it constantly adjusts the tune to suit riding conditions.
31000 ks. Haven’t changed the hydraulic fluid but looks to have normal colour, level is good.

If its already got a heavy spring in it then you have to think its the primary oil. I have the std clutch still in mine but heavy spring with around 70k and no slips and have run every oil you can think in the primary.

Is the clutch adjusted properly at the ramp? It’s one people skip all the time before delving into the basket. It’s a simple check.

Unsure of that not familiar with how to adjust a hydraulic clutch, it was going to be my next thing to look at. My dealer suggested the variable pressure plate but unsure about it the more I read they sound like the clutch gets very heavy under high revs.
