I’m not 100%, but I’m finding a hardtail difficult to deal with due to many stupid activities when younger (back issues).
    1980 XL1000 w/kicker
The basics... it was fully rebuilt recently, frame stripped and painted, new rear guard, custom flake paint, rebuilt gearbox, new top end seals throughout.
Seems the cams have been swapped out but we’ve not looked in to see what they are.
    -B&C custom leather seat
-S&S Super E carb with Chopper Dave’s AC
    -Zombie performance bars
    -custom sissy bar
    -rewired
    -new battery, chain and tyres
    -+2” forks with shaved/polished lowers

In all a ton of work has been done.
I’m thinking in the area of $14500 or so.

    I’m located in Mornington vic.

What a shame to sell it after the masterful rebuild it's had.

If it doesn't sell, drop the pressure in the rear tyre to around 16psi, swap to a sprung seat and mid-controls, and you'll find it MUCH more comfortable to ride.
