  G’day all 

  After getting sick of waiting to hear any decent answers from local dealers re fxbb forward controls I ordered a set from HD Bangkok. 

  Got them today, here’s a few pics for anyone interested

  look very nice, and solid too (the fwd controls on my Dyna always looked a bit flimsy)

  Me too! Hopefully get a spare second to get them on and get out there! 

  They seem well constructed and parts all seem good quality. Came with full colour step by step fitting instructions too

  Well not sure why they came out sideways? 
  

  Anyway easy install, half hour or so. Went for a quick burn, sssso much better. Way more comfortable. The knurl is very grippy too which I like. Will need to muck around tomorrow and just see if I can adjust the brake linkage to lift the lever up a little to a more comfortable position. Feels good otherwise !!

  I've actually been meaning to get a set of forwards but I'm happy with the way they are.

  The worst part of the mids I reckoned at the start was wondering what it looks like to others, but none of the lads bagged me out so I just enjoyed them , I've never had a set of mid controls before ever in 30+ years on these things and dagnabit it they suit me real well.

  Keep an eye on the shifter bolt. They tend to come loose for our customer quite quickly. We have ended up loctiting em.

  Yep had to tighten a few bolts already. Am going to loctite everything

  I have forward controls installed on my Streetbob FXBB but i am too short. If someone can help me switch back to the mid controls ill be willing to sell at a good price. 
  

  They cost $1,100 and have only done about 300km so practically brand new!
