Prolly a stupid question but do HD call their black frames Black Denim or Black Pearl or Black anything else, just want to match something up

Im not sure but i think the frame paint is just plain old "black".

Light Black with Dark Black runs?

Jet black?

Thats cleared that up, thanks fellas........

I think the only variations are Matt,Satin or Gloss Mine looks more like gloss.

I had 12 cans of black spray paint in my shed - all of them different shades and that doesn't included all the matts and glosses etc. Generally if we wanted a specific black we'd head off to the local paint shop with a sample.
Black isn't "just black" and there would be 100s of shades.

That said, I have a Harley frame black pen somewhere too so maybe the frames are all the same (??????????????). There must be an exact color to look up somewhere.

I'm sure the frames are powdercoated, black. So this will be different to your general black, in both colour and gloss. I HOPE this makes it as clear as MUD, Black MUD!

Apparently the human eye can pick up 16 shades of any colour including black.
And if any HD employee ever gives away a paint formula they are taken out the back and shot.
