Didn’t realise Yamaha produced a bagger. Unfortunately only available in the states at this point.

And with the Arlen Ness treatment...

    Yamaha’s websites states...

High Torque Engine with Cutting- Edge Rider Aids
Featuring a torque-rich 1854cc air-cooled V-twin, Star Eluder® produces smooth, effortless passing power even when fully loaded. And with ride-by-wire throttle control, traction control and selectable riding modes, the Eluder raises the bar for the classic V-twin bagger class.
    Integrated Infotainment System
With paired fairing-mounted speakers and a large, high-mounted, touch- and voice-controlled infotainment system, the Star Eluder puts the rider in command. Music, navigation, communications and vehicle systems are integrated cleanly into a single system that sets new standards for two-wheeled technology.

It aint a Harley but does looks special,  with the sexual undertones of being called an 'Eluder'.
Seriously it looks good at a quick shot, but more info.

Yeah I’m with you mate, could have all the features in the world, at end of day still a ugly jap bike.
Wouldn’t insult my Harley’s by parking one of them next to em.

what a load of shit.. everyone bought their first harley cause they look the coolest.
I still love a good looking bike, if no one gave a fuck how they looked, why is all the chrome bling harleys biggest market or for that matter why even polish their bikes.

If a classy cool looking bike wasn`t a thing why have the Japs been copying bikes since the 60s. Yammy vertical twins copy British classics then they copy V twins & so on I think even a Toyota Crown was a copy of the early Mercedes some would say all examples were improved on but lets not kid ourselves cool sells

I don't care how fast or how reliable a bike is, if it doesn't look good then it's not getting parked in my garage (and that applies to Harleys too).
The back of the Arlen Ness version isn't too bad but the front is fugly... pass.

I think the polishing part is simply pride of ownership, most of us have had an old shitbox car /bike but still never stopped us from washing or polishing it even if some of the panels were a faded version of the original.  LOL
