FXBB number plate mount

while there's not much of the look on my Street Bob that needs changing, the factory number plate/brake light is just a bit messy ...
does anyone have any recommendations for (something like) https://www.hotbike.com.au/?product=opt5-fxsb-inner-fender-fix-black-black-license-plate-frame-led-indicators or https://www.customdynamics.com/radius-quad-horizontal-motorcycle-plate-frames-with-flushmount-leds-led-plate-illumination?cat=2 that'll fit flush up against the rim of the fender and supplement the existing lighting (and of course if compliant/street legal in VIC **Edit**: looking at these - http://www6.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/viewdoc/au/legis/vic/consol_reg/rsr2009309/s48.html - I suspect 'flat' may be an interesting discussion)

I agree so I made this up as soon as I got it home. Bit of 3mm aluminium shaped and drilled to bolt straight on to underside of factory steel gusset under fender.

Thanks mate. Forgot to mention it does have the number plate light. It’s a small led one under the fender. I’ll take a photo later on when I get home.
Turned out well for an hour or so work... considering the outrageous price of the aftermarket ones out there

I think you need to have a reflector in VIC as well don't you? Trying to minimize 'reasons to annoy VicPOL" :)
serious question ... would you be open to making/shipping one my way and if so, how much? I suspect there's a lot of FXBB (and some of the other Softails) that would keep you in beer money for a while!

Reflectors, pffff. You just reminded me I think the number plate mount was the SECOND thing I did straight after I peeled all the bloody reflectors off
I’m about to make one up for a mates new breakout. I’d be happy to do more
