Good enough to keep or just upgrade straight up?

Gidday Smoke, i have 2018 streetglide and the more i ride it the more i think these shocks are not to bad. Saying that i am going to change the rears to roadking 13" shortly.
There is definitely a improvement over earlier models. Thats comparing to my prior bike 2009 roadking (with ikons on rear) Hope this helps. Cheers.

Smokey, my 17 SGS is my 1st tourer so all I can really say is, they're heaps better than my 94 Fatboy was. Personally I think they are oversprung for me, I'm no heavyweight at ~ 85kgs and I have to run them at the minimum pre load when solo to get some sort of compliance. They do bottom easy on the sharp bumps, especially 2 up, but they are the low profile version (12" I think) compared to the Ultras standard profile (13") so I do accept the compromise of looks over ride.
Not really in a position to upgrade, and really it would be a nice to do, not a need to do upgrade - but if I was, would be looking at the Pro Action shocks, read very good reports from those who have fitted them.
Front is definitely an improvement over the Fatboy, but apart from a brief period of sportsbike ownership, nothing better to compare it to.
