Hi all hoping someone can give some advice. I have just done a handlebar swap over from t-bars to mini apes. Carefully rewired everything put everything back together and everything works as it should but my LH rear indicator . The weird thing is that when I apply front or rear brakes it works. any ideas?

checked the indicator wires all good. problem still not fixed. I swapped over the black switch blocks for some chrome ones>? the indicators I have relocated to the forks so the wiring is nowhere near the the top end. #$%

when applying the front / rear brake, does the brake light work still?
sounds like the +ve for the LHR indicator where your joins are is fouling the handlebar brake +ve which is in series with the footbrake +VE
also check in the brake lever, the wires are tiny & easily crimped by accident when assembling the covers

might be off the mark...but i would have look at earths for the indicator/brake circuits ...just a may be. cheers

front and rear brake both activate the tail light as they should. the LH indicator comes on but does not flash. When pressing LH indicator switch
the front indicator flashes as it should and the LH rear doesnt.RH side works normal , I am suspecting the switch blocks.

I have handballed it of to the bike shop after I lost all power. I think I've made a mess of it. Going to look at getting a new handlebar wiring harness and start from scratch. The wires have been knocked around a bit pulling in and out of the blasted t-bars

Use trailer wire it’s already shielded Cut / solder or new pins And feed a nut tied to fishing line trough first
Than tie / tape it to your wiring

Finally got the bike back last night. Yep I had stretched and scraped the existing wiring harness when removing from the buggered Tbars. Thundertech in Mundaring bent over backwards to assist and ordered and fitted a new harness. My rear indicator fault turned out to be me putting the indicator plug in the wrong hole so that was an easy fix. Everything works as it should and I can't see myself changing bars again anytime soon. I think the experience has been a good learning curve and relatively inexpensive. My motto is I am willing to have a go and the worst that can happen is I fuck it up. Luckily there a people like Thundertech you can call on to get you back on the road
