Street 500 lowering kit

So, the missus wants to trade up from a V-Star 250 to a Street 500.
While she's comfortable on the little Yamaha the Street 500 is a bit too tall for her to flat foot.
I have noticed lowering kits for Dyna's & Sportsters which move the lower shock mount backwards therefore lowering
the rear of the bike but only found one for the Street 500 but the link is discontinued.  This idea would also effectively
make the rear suspension softer, she only weighs 60 Kg, a bit less than average.

Any ideas where to get hold of these adapters or would I have to buy new, shorter shocks?

I put on the shorter 11inch progressive shocks and a Mustang seat that is narrower at the front, the missus has no problems
    touching the ground now.

Good advice - it helps a lot with a narrower seat - as opposed to cutting the height down.

    Thanks for the replies gents.
Met lovely Jackie at HH Blacktown at a HOG BBQ & she put me on to Bad Boy Bobbers
in Melbourne who supplied the shocks for her 500.

The little one had a test sit & could reach the ground easily.

Will probably go the reach seat first then plan B will be the shorter shocks.
