Honestly Lucifer. Unless it worries you to death, don't spend the cash. Those are the battle and life scars of a well used bike. I had some light rust on the front wheel of the Deuce when I got it. Over a couple of cleans I got out the scrunched up alfoil and copious amounts of water and gently wiped the rust away. Put some polish over the top and it's all good. Spend the cash on juicy bits.. Good luck

Moved on from the stock spoke wheels on my '96WG, best thing I did. No more loose/broken spokes & no more cleaning headaches. Have PM 'Torque ' wheels, chose these for easy of cleaning (and the look of course)!

Chivo's Tyres @ Parramatta , have always been good at rebuilding spoke wheel's, a set of polished stainless steel spokes & could lace on new rim if old one needs replacing. but just a suggestion.

Hi lucifer. I changed from spokes to alloys on my superglide. After a lot of looking around i found the cheapest options were hd alloys from the dealer. I suppose they dont look as nice as some of the aftermarket options but i ended up with the 5 spoke aluminium/black powdercoated wheels for 420 per wheel with the install kit. I havent found anything aftermarket for even close to that price. The workmanship was pretty good too. I'd recommend getting some options from the hd spare parts department you may be pleasantly surprised. This way theres no stuffing around and it eliminates issues with compatability. I'd also recommend getting installation quotes from an indi mechanic. Mine charged me 1/3 of what hd quoted me. Just food for thought anyway. Good luck
