Just thought I'd share how my latest addition turned out .
Big thanks to Tat2_u for putting me onto Harley Heaven ... They sent me a International version of the Custom Dynamics Tri Bar , running and brake lights set up ... Straight plug and play ... I reckon it can't hurt to have some extra lights at the rear to get the attention of the car drivers .

    Off , no ignition .

Ignition on , running lights .

    Brakes on .

Anyone know why they would bother to put a blank tail light in the Fender with all the wiring on international models .

On a side note be careful of your local posties , my lovely fellow decided to chuck my package over the fence ... Sort of lucky I live in the country but still could of got stolen but check out how we found it after the animals were done with it .

It ended up in the wheel tracks of the drive way ... Could have driven right over it as it just looked like a dirty bit of plastic .

Anyhow any Tourer's out there who want a bit of extra rear light should have a look at these ... 208 Bucks delivered ... Well worth it I reckon if it alerts the occasional cage drivers .

Ha.Postie might be a bit ferrell, and wanted something to chew on. Good advice, as they great, should be standard, being safer is good.

Lol ... I'm not touching that one Stropp ... But while I have you what was involved with the Saddle Bag Lights , wiring wise ... With my paint work being the Velocity Red Sun Glow I reckon the lights would blend right in until I hit the brakes .

Hi Steve ... Mate give Harley Heaven Dandenong a call and get the guys in spare parts to sort it for you .
Tats2 - u from on here put me onto them ... Ordered mine last Saturday and it turned up Wednesday ... Really simple install actually ... My only issue is that I am a Fat Old Bastard and getting up and down off the Garage floor is not that easy anymore , Lol .

Have a number if you have trouble finding it ...

Funny was at Gasoline Ally today and they hadn't heard of Custom Dynamics ... They didn't seem to know why the International models didn't have the lights even though the wiring and cartridge are there .

You might be able to see how the Original is blank inside ... Some smart Electric type people might be able to add some L.E.D.'s inside as the circuit board is still on the back .

For me though for a couple of hundred bucks it is worth it .

The guys at Gasoline said there was a Fat Front Wheel Tourer down there this morning ... Wasn't you was it .

I replaced mine with a gen HD one. It plugged in and thats all it did. Had to swap pins in the connector and fuck around but did get it going. Buy a plug and play straight up

Plug and play, no drilling of the bags as the wiring is secured by sticky cable lugs. Genuine HD

    Tat2-u ... Thanks again .
James , Lol ... Thought something similar myself when I saw the picture .

Stropp ... Thanks for the feedback about Saddle Bag Lights ... Might have a look at them and see if it isn't too much of a over kill / Xmas tree effect if you know what I mean ... Just have to see whether the smoked or red lens would blend in the best plus they also come in chrome or black surrounds ... Discissons Discissons .

Man if those lights don`t get cage drivers attention nothing will ... mate was having a quick read of install instructions with those saddle bag lights ... am i right in thinking that when you take your bags off for cleaning or whatever reason you have to unplug the supplied cables from Saddlebag lights that would plug into wiring harness .

Not that would be an issue just curious is all .

TJU, that's correct mate - all plug and play quick connects, so should be straight forward. I've got the same colour bike as yours but a batwing and have been considering these in the smoked lense for a while now. Go on the Harley shop site and look up the lights(shop for bike), then go to the instructions tab and have a read - pretty straight forward.
Your post about the tri bar light has got me thinking that way instead though - thanks for the review and info.

    cheers
