IF only that would work. I remember my old man telling me they could do that with the horses back in New Zealand when he was a young fella, someone would be at the track in the north island and call his father on one of those old fangled phone boxes. He would wait next to the phone box across the road from the TAB in the south island, then dash across the road to place a bet. From memory he had about 1 minute to place the bet.

Remember reading about  a scam in Ireland years ago , true story  about delayed telecasts from winning horses , quick phone calls and freinds putting bets on , long time ago can't remember the details .
