    Funny, police have the same approach to this, they also don't care what you wear, as long as you don't copy them or you are one of them when you are not

    Not true. they try to control through intimidation and threats who can wear what. Ulysses were threatened in the beginning and had to "negotiate" and "acceptable" back patch. It's way past time these people who have turned their backs on society were pulled up.
