In a past life i was a manager of a m/shop in Sutherland and we had the contract for servicing the southern command highway patrol bikes so everyday i would head down thru national park past the car park up thu helensburgh and back along the motorway . I know the road thru very well

Good stuff mate, it certainly is a beautiful part of NSW, but to be honest I tend to avoid it due to hoons and heavy police presence. Only recently there was a double fatality involving bikes and cars and corners, not good.

Ha Ha we had several people in the old days that you would just ring, on the landline, and say the new Honda... is here , your bike and $500 they come in RED or BLUE when do you want to pick it up? We even had a repeat customer who was a armed hold up lad who would pop in from time to time ask how much a Suzuki or Honda was and come back next day with the cash........we had no idea till the detectives came over to ask how old mate was buying the bikes! Ah yes the good old days.....

Sorry mate could not catch on to what you asked me at first.....yes have given the "blues and twos" the odd burst but remarkably never in built up area. Flat out those k100 BMW would do 180kph and then start the slow steering wobble due to the poor aero flow around the fairing and panniers. They were a horrible bike to ride at any speed

GETTING  THERE ... Stretched bag on with my factory lid ... Perfect Color match ... With Contrast cut latch covers , that go well with floor boards , highway pegs and hand grips .
Big difference from the standard on the left ... There will be 2 big gaps between bags and fender , but Stretched fender on the way to fill those holes .. Ye Ha .

Ciro3d bag blades on the way as well just to finish the rear end off ... Well at least until they make a CVO rear guard with no cutouts .

Will post some better pics when all finished .

Going for that fat clean low rear look .
Any one know if anyone in Australia or over seas for that matter has bars similar to the ones on the bike below .

Skid plates on ... That 3 m stuff is sticky ... Hope I don't get to test them out .
The inside of the Bags are just as good as the outer paint work ... Genuine bags are no where as good on the inside , not that they need to be of course .
Anyone know what the little cutoff rubbers are used for ... Not the 2 that plug into bottom of Bag and sit on rail .

the cut bits your talking about are to help get the gaps even where the back of the bags meet with fender extension so they don't rub I made up a better set up using some old car radiator bump stops so I have full adjustment to keep gaps even , Those cut bits are to be tapped to the saddle bag support bar which I think is a shitty idea

Bags on ... Really happy with the Color match ... Just waiting for the Stretched fender to turn up to get the clean look at the rear .
Even with the 13" Legend rear shocks on the Stretched bags helps to give it that lower rear end look .
