Had a visit from Steelo and Boony yesterday and met them at our favorite coffee and cream bun shop near the railway station at Strath. Told a few stories to each other, some of which may have even been true. Good to see you again, mate.

Those blokes from the city were here again today, with the usual crop of pseudo-truthful yarns to tell. One fact that did emerge, and I know it's fact coz Boony told me, was that Steelo actually rode Boony's Jesus-big Triumph down the Bull Creek Road all the way through Double Bridges and Boony couldn't get Steelo's arse off it! All that without a windscreen to protect his delicate complexion too! We all should be impressed at how tough Steelo is becoming!

Thank you spook for that update. I've just come out of an impromptu emergency chiropractic session. That bike is brutal!! Savage acceleration, astonishing brakes and bone jarring suspension. All my laughter lines have been stretched flat, 2 fillings have been loosened and I'm expecting blood in my urine for at least a week.. Happy days.

Steelo and Boony wandered out of Adelaide today at Steelo's leisurely pace and finished up in Kanmantoo only because he couldn't remember how to get to Strathalbyn. Anyhow my brother, another mate and myself were cruising down the Old Princes Highway just sharing the road with a shitload of other bikes and cars when we happened across a black Harley and a Jesus-big Triumph parked outside the general store/cafe and I said to myself, "Self, that could be Steelo lost again"! Sure enough there were the two of them and Steelo crying into his coffee because young Mitchy had sold all his sticky buns to the passing truckies and the mine staff from Hillgrove. We pulled up and relocated the errant city dwellers out of the cold wind, lent them an almost clean hankie for the tears, and proceeded to feed them HTFU pills and after about an hour we felt confident to point them back toward the city. It was however good to catch up with the lad regardless of the circumstances.

Binnsy!! That's very hurtful mate. It's called fat shaming, and it's never OK. If you'd been at the Floriade this year, you would have seen the new svelte me. A work in progress though.

Binnsy, I think you may have mistaken me for Steelo. I'm the one with no hair and a few grams of excess padding...........orright, kilos then! We are all a work in progress, just some unsuccessful to date.
