Is a re-tune needed?

I have a 2017 Street Glide. I originally had the bike tuned with the Screamin eagle street canons (yuk) and an Arlen ness heavy breather. I since put the neighbour haters on (without a re-tune) and I'm considering removing the baffles. I still have stock headers and only the slip ons were changed. Just wanting to know if I would need a retune at all?

Yep, pretty sure it's required to keep your warranty anyway but the bike will run better as a bonus.
I bought a Super Tuner Pro (orange box), have heard the Street Tuner (black box) is only good for stage 1 which is what you have, but not recommended for further upgrades as limited in it's adjustability.

DocGreen (also have a 2017 SGS with the HD hi flow round style filter, stage 1 cal and with a few smart tunes and runs very nice, standard muffs still)

What exactly are the “neighbour haters”?

Slip on mufflers, I got thru J&P cycles in the US. I think I just bought them for the name. Lol.

matho1961, apologies mate I just re read your post - really shouldn't try and multitask (missus was right again). If you've already had it tuned with the stage 1 cal it wouldn't hurt to do a few smart tunes after removing the baffles from the new muffs, may pick up a little extra and may not depending on tune before. From reading the US forums, these engines are very sensitive to back pressure, so you may lose low end torque.
What tuner are you running btw? if its the HD tuner (either one) download the software if you haven't already and have a play - gets easier the more you use it. You will need the cables though if you don't already have them.
Theres a few posts on here with links to software and tutorials to help.

I have the SE super tuner pro (orange box). I truly wouldn't know where to begin with doing it myself but Id be happy to try. Without looking on youtube I guess Id have to download the software on my Mac then transfer it to the box and then somehow to the bike. Currently ive had 4 large JDs so Ill wait till tomorrow to try

Hey mate, try this link for the software and tutorial to get started.  prosupertuner.harley-davidson.com/SuperTuner.aspx
It does get easier the more you use it, especially if only doing small mods/changes - just take your time. I find it handy to have the laptop plugged in to power and the battery charger connected to the bike while playing around just so neither go flat in the middle of doing something.

I entered all 1's for the VCI number to download the software - give your VCI number a go 1st.
