    He said the steering 'locked'.
    I wonder if it might have tram tracked into a road rut?
    Did not seem to have anything really bad on the road surface.

    P.S. saw a review of that particular model when it first came out.
    The guy said it did not want to go around corners due to that massive fat front tyre.

    Seems to go pear shaped after he crosses the road asphalt repair line and tries to get back. Bloody tragedy. Feel sorry for the fella. Wasn't being an idiot.
