    Hi All,
My 2016 RoadKing started making terrible noises on a recent ride. Checked oil at next servo to find almost none! Took 4 litres to fill, ran a few minutes until noise subsided. Got home and took straight to trusted HD mech (non dealer). Replaced oil and filter, checked “everything” but has no idea where oil could have gone. Bike was not blowing smoke, no telltale oil stains under or on bike. Bike running well, so it’s a mystery. Any ideas? TIA!

Wonder if oil is 'migrating' to another space? Maybe check transmission level?

couldnt agree more loopie, oil just doesnt dissappear,it must be somewhere[ not nessarcarily in the bike].i get occasional mysterious issues with machines i work on that seem to "rectify them selves" and hate telling the customer i cant find an acceptable answer, usually electrical problems, but not liquid loss problems, there will be an  answer.cheers.

That"s why better to service your self, if confident.
