There are a couple of kits available, the pro kit is the more expensive one as they supply new wider triple trees so a full guard can be used. With the pro kit you can also run a 200 wide tyre. They also sell an Easy kit which is different for different years. On 09 to 13 models like mine you only need to buy their guard with the cutouts around the forks and the cut down cowbells. I decided to get my guard modified as it's a cheaper option plus it had a small dent in it. For 14 plus models you need to get one of the fork legs modified, or with their kit they supply it. I think it's about $899 USD plus post for that kit. The Easy kit for my model (2013) is $599 USD plus post. The post costs to the Gold Coast was $170 USD for the wheel and $130 USD for the kit. With the exchange rate and now GST it would be around $1000 AUD to get the kit delivered. It also comes in raw form so then needs to be painted. With using my guard and cowbells I got the look I wanted and it will be done and painted for around the same money.

Sounds like you are going about it the smart way Steve ... Looking forward to hearing what you think of it handling wise after you get some Kay's on it .
I see Gasoline have put a 180 tyre on a  PM wheel I think it is on a Fat Bob ... Interesting look but the rear dosent look right ... Needs to be a 200 at least to look right I reckon .

At least with yours and other Tourer's the Bags give the rear a fuller look that makes the front look good .

Okay, as for looks that's whatever you think. Ride quality is much better with the bigger tyre. It runs over all the small stuff much smoother so more comfortable. Handling, funnily enough it actually tips into the corners much quicker than the standard front tyre. With the extra width and weight it's slightly slower to flick back over, but soon get used to it. As I've said previously the Yanks love this setup and have been doing them for around 11 years now.

Bugger I somehow missed your post in October about your accident and injuries from September. Sorry Steve and hope you and your mate are fully mended now.
