Temp sensor

    Bike has started to play up last few rides. Engine light will come on for a few seconds bike will misfire and run rough then back to normal. Had the power vision on it today as i was playing with the idle speed. The bike temp was 50 degrees when the Engine light flashed and the temp went to -14 then -18 bike misfired temp went instantly back to 50 degrees. No loose wires etc so just ordered a new Temp sensor let you know if that fixes it

    The master tech at Harley told me they see it a bit and mainly tourers.....wonder why?

    Well new temp sensor in and just done a 150klm autotune. Idles a lot better and back to normal it seems. Interesting to note that this sender seems to indicate a lower reading than the previous. Old would sit around 128c on the open road new sits around 122c ...

    Very unusual part to fail i thought till i spoke to the Harley tech

    Mine played up on a 2013 Roadglide. Replaced under warranty. Not uncommon I was told. Same symptoms (without CEL) but started playing up after cam install and dyno tune which caused some initial confusion.
