Hi all, my name is Bill and have been riding an XVS650 Classic for the past two years and have just purchased a 2017 Heritage softail classic after talking about it for a bloody eternity. My lovely dear sweet wife (grovel grovel) has held me back from riding on the road for many many years. By the time she finally caved, it became a three year long wait to get off a restricted licence - I still have a year to go! It's going to be a <insert expletives!!!> long year!  I know I bought a bit early but blinging a bike takes time and coin as you may know. Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Way to commit Poppybill! I have a 2017 heritage too. The leather panniers need a bit of leather conditioner from time to time. How to you find the wind shield?

Love the bike Broke but I found the windshield annoying as the top of it lined up dead centre of my vision. Was the first thing to come off. Nothing like the feel of the wind as you ride I reckon.
