    Afternoon,
I am looking for some help with the tssm (turn signal/alarm)

Today when I started the bike it ran for about 5 seconds then shut down. Now I have no indicators and the bike does nothing when I hit the start button.

When I checked the diagnostic codes when I cycle through to the tssm it comes back with no response.

Could this be burnt out? Is there a way to test.

    Anything else to check?

    Bike is a 2011 streetbob

Try a new battery in your fob.

Replaced the battery in the fob, no change.
If I move the bike without the key, no alarm or anything so may be something deeper in the system?

I have accidentally put the battery in upside down and the bike wouldn't go :-). Might be worth a look.

Checking your fuses might be worthwhile

How are you checking the codes?  Via the speedo (so it's working?) or with a (tuner power vision for example) or app?  And what do you means it comes back with no response?

Hey guys, sorry for the late response, big weekend.
Everything appears to be plugged in correctly. Fob battery is in the right way, all the fuses and relays are fine.

I have been checking the codes with the speedo. When I click to test the second option 5/S whatever you want to call it which i believe is the security/turn signal module, it displays NO RSP. Which I am thinking means no response.

Does anyone know of a way to check that TSSM?

    Cheers

    FFS EDIT.

I cocked up my steps, but:

No RSP will appear if the RUN SWITCH is OFF instead of ON while checking the fault codes.

Have you tried removing the Maxi fuse for a couple of minutes?

My speedo lost its marbles( no odometer reading etc)  a couple of weeks back and removing the Maxi and reinstalling after a 30 seconds or so brought it back to life.
also, does your alarm module have the rechargable battery in it? that could be faulty or on its way out
