    And another thing, I been riding in QLD a bit this month and what the fuck is the cage drivers problem with bikes lane splitting??
    More then twice I have had em try to move over so I can’t get past, near had a major road rage incident with one fuckhead..

    These pricks just can’t stand the thought of someone being in front of em.

    Do they hate bikers up here that much?
    Or are they all ignorant assholes?

    Lane splitting is a new development up here, never had to many issues myself

    Have the same issue in Adelaide , not long ago , woman pulled her car in front and clipped my wheel ,  asked her what she thinks she's playing at , she told me to stop pushing in and get in line ....Lol , Old bitch was about 85 , she did'nt give a fook ,  made me laugh .

    By the way, I tried my first two goes at lane splitting here in Launceston last week in peak hour traffic, expecting the worst with uneducated drivers, all good, passed about 60 cars & trucks with no issues! Home safe on a wet road with new tyres.

    The part about lane splitting that infuriates me is ...............when you are traversing the road shoulder (in a 90 KPH or faster zone) the traffic must be stopped OR doing less than 40 KPH ( so good so far)

    So .............move onto said road shoulder and Ol mate hurtle past me on his Zooki (on the LH side no less) doing about 70 KPH - WTF .


    i mean who passes on the left at that speed . One "slight move"  to the left and he hits me and we are all under a bus

    Answer B, ignorant arseholes. Most of them wouldn't even know you're there.

    Keep your eyes wide open, pay attention and expect anything while you're up here chriso. It never ceases to amaze me the complete lack ability or situational awareness nearly all drivers in SEQ have and most simply do not pay any attention whatsoever, you've been warned.

    Happened to me the other day. I didn't realise the car in front had pulled up about 4 car lengths short of the cue until I was beside him, then the asshole closed the gap on me. 
    Then a few days later, there was a cruiser wagon in a right turn lane that decided they wanted to swap to the straight through lane just as I got to them then had the hide to blow their horn at me. It was pure ass that there was a gap in the traffic to my left. I also had a guy abruptly change lanes on me as I was between the back of his ute and his builders trailer. That one scared the piss out of me because I hit the brakes just as I got onto a big painted patch which caused a big tank slap. I swear the Rockhampton drivers are the worst in the country.
