Interested in knowing type/brand of bike cover others use. I know that it should be breatheable to prevent condensation. I have a cover but it is like a fleece on the inside & plastic tarp type material on outside, not sure if this is the best.

My bike is inside the garage when not in use and i use a old king size sheet over it. Soft and does not need to be weather resistant

I have a queen size fitted sheet on mine (in the garage). Wash it a few times a year and it’s all tip top.
For out in the open - at work or travelling I have a Andy Strapz cover. Works ok; mainly tied to the bike rather than covering everything.

I bought one from SuperCheap auto for $50 awhile ago works great but stop using it, heard those covers hold condensation so now I throw a bed sheet over it, keeps the dust off all I need.

Yeah, that seems to be the popular thinking that a bedsheet is best to help air flow so prevent condensation. I think I will do the same.

Super Cheap....extra large bike cover $60.00...soft underside/Nylon top...even though the bikes in the garage, still manage to get dust on it without the cover!

    Best coin Ive spent!

us poor folk (that don't get free covers) have to steal an old bed sheet or as I am even poorer than that, leave the bike uncovered in the carport

I need to use a cover because the bike gathers dust sitting outside the back door but if I use a cover I can't look at the bike when I walk past the back door...

The guy I bought my bike from gave me the cover too. Is a Capsule cover. Has a heavy base (rubber / plastic) that ya park on and then pull the cover over and zip all around the bottom. It breaths AND keeps all the crap out. I’ve got a small cover over my V Star. It leaves the rims ever so slightly exposed. There’s little rust pools on them now.

Yeah B0GN, you took it to the next level & win hands down alright with that type cover (capsule). Still think I might just go the bedsheet though.

Yeah, I was pretty happy to get the thumbs up when I saw it in the guys shed and asked if he was gonna throw it in with the bike :-)

dont give up yet, the robust capsule is good, but the old Harley Bubble has not been given a gurnsey in the conversation

Harley Bubble you can admire your bike and protect

I'm a bit slow, hey I live close to salt water, so always cover mine with cotton sheets, a lot of them & cotton Doona it's inside. also I have always put cotton rags up the pipe to stop salt air in that way too.
